What is the Invisalign system?

She can predict the number of Invisalign aligners you will have and the number of weeks your treatment will take - and show you every stage of your treatment on the screen - in an image of your own face - before your very eyes.
Day to day living
Throughout your Invisalign treatment, you will be given a series of sets of aligners for your top and bottom teeth, each of which is completely designed and tailor-made for you, each of which is calculated to move your teeth week by week into their final position. You can comfortably wear the aligners for the recommended 22 hours’ day and night, and because they are removable, it is easy to maintain your normal oral hygiene routine and usual diet (no need to avoid your favourite crunchy, chewy, sticky foods as you would with braces). You change your aligners every week to a new set which move your teeth incrementally towards your new smile in as little as three months.
Because the aligners are made from a high tech, smart polymer, it makes the end result extremely predictable… and extremely comfortable to wear, day in and day out.
Towards the end of your Invisalign treatment, it is also possible to whiten your teeth to achieve a desirable straight, white smile.
To keep your perfect smile at the end of Invisalign treatment, retainers are recommended, which can either be a fixed wire bonded on the insides of your top and bottom front teeth or a removable retainer that you wear at night. The Invisalign-branded retainers, known as Vivera Retainers, are excellent and come in sets of 3, so you always have spare or extra set to keep your perfect smile in excellent condition.
